Sitter Screening Process

Sitters On the Fly was started in order to address a growing need for reliable care options in New Hampshire and across the country.

My experience as a lead infant/toddler teacher, a behavioral therapist for children with autism, and the current nannying and babysitting I do for dozens of families in Southern and Eastern New Hampshire has impressed upon me that need.

Your children’s safety is of the utmost concern to us and a top priority. Below are the steps we take to ensure this.

Step by step vetting process

Interview – this is our first official contact with the sitter applicant. We take the time to assess their love and care for children, as well as their resume and experience.

We only want the very best sitters at Sitters On the Fly.

Background Check – we complete background checks on all of our sitters as part of our vetting process.

References – We require 3 child care references and thoroughly check out every reference the sitter provides us to verify their credibility.

CPR Certified – We require all of our sitters to be CPR + First Aid Certified.

Meet & Greet – All clients are able and encouraged to set up a meet and greet with the sitter they are booked with before the booking to ensure both the sitters and clients are comfortable with the booking.
